A grant outcome report is often the only part of your program a funder ever sees. That gap — between the impact you created and what the funder can verify on the page — is the proof gap, and the report is where you close it or leave it open.
The sections every grant outcome report needs
- Executive summary — the answer first: did the program do what it promised?
- Outcomes against the goals you set — each goal, with what actually changed.
- The evidence behind each outcome — how you know, not just what you claim.
- Outputs, in context — the activity numbers, framed as inputs to the outcomes.
- What did not land — and what you changed in response.
- What the next period funds — the case for renewal.
